THE CLOAK TOKEN
The CLOAK token functions as the gas token of the Shielded Protocol, abstracting away all native Antelope resources (CPU, NET, RAM) and enabling secure, private access to the entire Antelope.io ecosystem — all through the CLOAK Wallet. Protocol governance sets the fee parameters. The CLOAK token plays a critical role in breaking the final link between users' private transactions and the Antelope account that signs and executes them, providing a simple, Ethereum-like gas model with Zcash-level privacy on top. Part of each transaction fee supports ongoing development through the DAO, while another portion is permanently burned.
